Container homes are modern prefabricated structures integrating steel frames, sandwich panels, aluminum alloy, tiles, glass, and paint. They are known for their portability, recyclability, environmental friendliness, aesthetics, and cost-effectiveness. Here’s how to prevent moisture issues:

1. Glass Wool Connection

  • For horizontal connections, secure glass wool panels using staples along the edges of the facing material.

2. Edge Finishing and Wall Panel Installation

  • Finish the edges of the glass wool before installing wall panels.
  • Trim glass wool rolls 20cm beyond wall purlins and secure with double-sided tape.

3. Facing and Fixing Details

  • Position the vapor barrier facing indoors. Unroll from the eave to the corner, securing the bottom edge to purlins with 20cm of overlap.
  • To prevent cold bridges, install rigid insulation pads under roof purlins during roofing construction.

4. Installation Key Points

  • Maintain tension and alignment during installation, ensuring tight seams between rolls.
  • For longitudinal overlaps, position joints over purlins to maximize moisture resistance.
